The three-day program will include a variety of session types, including oral presentations, panel discussions, and poster presentations.

Plenary speakers


A range of international and national speakers will be included to ensure a rich and dynamic program. We are excited to confirm the following keynote speakers for WICC 2024:
 

  • Professor Gail Garvey: NHMRC Research Leadership Fellow and Professor of Indigenous Health Research in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland, Brisbane Australia 

  • Professor Tom Calma AO: Chancellor, University of Canberra; 2023 Senior Australian of the Year

  • Dr Angeline Letendre: Lead Scientist, Community Research Stream at Alberta Cancer Prevention Legacy Fund, Alberta Health Services, Canada

  • Associate Professor Lisa Whop: NHMRC Early Career Research Fellow based at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Heath, Australian National University, Canberra Australia

  • Professor Linda Burhansstipanov: Founder, Native American Cancer Research Corporation
