Funded Delegate Program

WICC 2024 is delighted to provide opportunity to delegates to apply for funding to offset some of the cost of their travel, accommodation and registration. Applications closed on 8th December 2023 and applicants were advised of the outcome on 14 December.

Applicants must be Indigenous community representatives, consumers (Indigenous cancer survivors and carers), or Indigenous researchers/health workers.  

​

Three levels of award are available, to both national and international guests.


Level 1: $3,530 (international) or $1,810 (domestic), including: 

  • Conference registration ($650) 

  • Travel (economy) to a maximum of $2000 (international) and $500 (domestic) 

  • Accommodation (as booked by conference organisers) to a maximum of $880 for four nights (international) or $660 for three nights (domestic) 

 
Level 2: $2,880 (international) or $1,160 (domestic), including: 

  • Travel (economy) to a maximum of $2000 (international) and $500 (domestic) 

  • Accommodation (as booked by conference organisers) to a maximum of $880 for four nights (international) or $660 for three nights (domestic) 

 
Level 3: $650 (conference registration only)
